it's me... it's me...
and yet again this week i am so excited. after talking about it for years i have finally taken the plunge. i have listed a few things in my shop as of last evening and will continue to post things this week. this is what i am workin on this week. (whew...)
these cute hand towels are to be the first items in the line of hand embroidered items coming to the shop. each of the images embroidered on the towels (strips, trees, stag, coral, and bird) were all designed by your's truly. i hope you love them. the stag and the coral are already in the shop (click the button on the top right) and i will be adding the rest as the week progresses.
the bird - was adapted from a set of vintage pillow cases my sister has. i am a sucker for birds and couldn't imagine opening an etsy store without them.
the coral - was inspired by a vintage coral print and our recent trip to the beach. who says beachy as to be kitsch?
the trees - i wanted to create a modern look for this little cluster of trees. i think they could brighten any kitchen.
the stripes - the strips are for that person who wants to give handmade or loves to buy handmade but likes to keep it simple and clean. these towels will add the handmade touch and will do it subtly.
i hope you like the new items for the shop... i have designed napkins, aprons, place-mats, and more but i am only one person and can only sew so fast. i will get the new creations into the shop as fast as i can complete them. go have a look and as always i would love to know what you guys think.

these are absolutely darling. as a fellow embroiderer, i know how hard it can be to keep designs clean, original, and sweet but not overly cute. well done.
