felted hair pins

today i have been working on a new item for my shop.

(i will get back to the wedding stuff soon but there are so many other things i wanted to share with you - so until next week we will take a wedding break)

ok then i have been hard at work here all day trying to get some new felted hair pins ready for the shop.  i have been working on felting some of the balls this week but this morning i finished them up.

i am making two different types of pins, one with larger felted balls and the other with the tiny ones.

i must admit that i almost didn't want to make them into pins because i loved having all the little colored balls of felt spread all over the table.
after all of the balls were complete for this round of pins the construction began.
