check out all of our little cabbages!

while ripping our house to shreds.... and trying to rebuild we are also trying to build our little garden one pallet at a time.  the one you see above is our cabbage.  no, no one needs this much cabbage but i don't know how many of them will survive... so we planted a bunch.  no matter how many survive with the amount of seeds we purchased and planted we are going to need to dig gardens come the spring.

speaking of spring, the first mini-daffodil opened this morning into the cool winter/spring air.  that little flower has made me hopeful though... if she can do so will everything else.  ahh... today i did a bit of shopping for our up coming trip.  yep we are going into the sun!!!  and i can't wait.  two weeks and counting.  so get ready while we try and drywall, paint, pack, and go crazy.  yeah i know it is a bit much but why not go all the way.  that way we will certainly need that vacation.  

oh most of the tomatoes are in... we might get a green house this week for cheap.... keep your fingers crossed for us k.
